Basic Class

Who should take this class?
Anyone selling or serving alcohol in AZ. This class will cover serving amounts, drinking age, how to check ID’s, which ID’s are acceptable in AZ, and how to prevent overservice.
Is this class required?
At least one person listed as an owner on a liquor license is required by the state to have this certificate.
While not required for anyone else, anyone that is serving or selling alcohol will benefit from the knowledge garnered from taking this class. If an employee is caught breaking AZ liquor law, they will be charged along with the establishment.

Management Class

Who should take this class?
Anyone purchasing alcohol from wholesalers, anyone creating specials or ads, anyone managing employees that serve or sell alcohol, and anyone involved in planning events.
Is this class required?
At least one person listed as an owner on a liquor license application is required by the state to have a certificate.
We advise anyone that manages employees that are selling or serving alcohol to take this class. This class is also required for Managers on Record.

Wholesale Class

Who should take this class?
Anyone employed by a wholesaler that is working with retailers, providing stocking services, hosting sampling events, or providing alcohol for events.
Is this class required?
No. This class was created to focus solely on the Wholesale-Retail liquor laws which the other classes do not delve into.
