Amy Nations has been working in licensing since 1999. Following 9 years as a security specialist for Motorola and Allied Signal. As an expert in liquor licenses, Amy has built relationships with restauranteurs and city and county officials during the span of her long, successful career and brings that knowledge to her clients.

Craig Miller retired from the Arizona Department of Liquor after spending 22 years in Law Enforcement. Retiring as the Supervisor of the Trade Practice and Training Unit, he joined ALIC on September 1st, 2016. As an expert in Arizona Liquor Law from his time with the Department of Liquor, he is an asset to his clients when a citation or fine is unavoidable.
Tom King is a seasoned beverage alcohol executive with more than 30 years of leadership experience spanning distributor management, supplier, and national accounts. Throughout his career with Hensley, Alliance Beverage Distributing Company, Diageo, and Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits, Tom has built a reputation for driving growth, developing high-performing teams, and delivering strong financial results, including management of P&Ls exceeding $400 million. He is active in the Arizona community through organizations including the Phoenix Thunderbirds and is most proud of his three grown children.
Training Specialists
Kevin has been with ALIC for 8 years and is most likely a very familiar face if you have attended any of our classes. With an extensive background in the restaurant and bar industry, the skills he acquired are regularly utilized by our clients to ensure they stay within the bounds of Arizona liquor law and keep your employees compliant.
Buz has been here since 2016 after a successful law enforcement career that spanned 3 decades. and is force to be reckoned with in the classroom. With a background in the Arizona Department of Liquor alongside Craig, he is an excellent trainer with a focus on efficiency and information retention.
Bob joined ALIC in June 2021 after serving as a Liquor Licensing Investigator for the Scottsdale Police Department for over 10 years. Prior to that, Bob was in the Industrial Packaging Business in Chicago from 1973 until 2002, at which time he sold his business and retired. During that time Bob also served as President of the Morton Grove, Illinois Police Pension Fund and the Police Commissioner for the Morton Grove Police Department until his retirement in 2002.
Licensing Specialists
Rhonda worked with the City of Phoenix in their licensing and has been with ALIC for 17 years. During that time she has helped hundreds of new clients get their liquor license has processed hundreds of renewals during her tenure.
Miranda started with the DLLC. In 2005, she made the change and started with ALIC as a Licensing Specialist and she has extensive knowledge in licenses and permits.
Sarah has been with ALIC for 5 years. She began by working with our clients on all their Special Events and has been a Licensing Specialist for the past 2 years.
Office Specialists
Kylie focuses on Event Logistics, Staffing, our Technical Operations, and teaches Title 4 Classes. With a background in restaurant management, online tech, and training, she blends the old world with the new.
